Carlie Uglem, Intern Clinician

"Hello! My name is Carlie, and I am known for my ability to create a safe space and my love of talking about the taboo topics (that are often so common! but not discussed. I promise you’re not alone).

You can expect safety to be my priority, for me to respect your therapy icks (we all have them), and that I will help us slow down and find some safety in our bodies as we talk (or don’t talk). I am a relational therapist who draws from somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and neuroscience and Satir in the sandtray.

I specialize in moms, adults, and kids. Moms might come to me for support with pregnancy, infertility, miscarriage, birth trauma, postpartum depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or navigating role changes.

Others might come for support with trauma, panic attacks, anxiety, medical trauma, burnout, perfectionism, as well as grief and loss.

I work with all types of people and look forward to meeting you, no matter what brings you in.

Outside of this world, you can find me in a coffee shop chatting with people, gathering people over food, or moving my body on a walk or in the gym. Novelty makes life feel longer, so you might also find me trying a dance class, learning to rock climb, on a last-minute road trip, or learning to play pickleball along with everyone else.
